Modern Mummy Loves.... Sunny Autumn Days

Autumn is my favourite season, and days like today, where the sun is shining and everything is golden and you are wrapped up warm in wintery woollies exploring the great outdoors take a lot to beat!

Daisy and I took Percy out for a long walk through the park and it ended up being quite an adventure for a twenty two month old.... there were lots of hills to climb, leaves to kick, conkers to collect and muddy puddles to splash in.

Here are a few photos from our day out.

When we got home we got crafty and made some autumn garlands - they are so easy and quick to make; perfect for a toddler with a short attention span. All you need are some pretty autumn leaves and some gardening string, and a needle or small, pointed scissors to cut the holes. You can be as creative and imaginative as you like with older children - you could add flowers and conkers and acorns - but Daisy and I kept it simple! Pretty, non?

I'll be back shortly with today's Foodie Friday post - we have carrot, apple and sultana cupcakes in the oven right now! Yum x
