Well I've reached the end of my third week of listening to my Thinking Slimmer slimpod and it has been another fantastic one. In actual fact I would go so far as to say I am gobsmacked with the results. Another 2.5lbs off which brings my 21-day total to 7.5lbs! Pretty amazing, non?
Before I started the programme I also took some measurements - of my waist, hips, thigh and upper arm. I re-took those measurements this morning. Bloody hell, are you ready for this?
I have lost half an inch from my waist. In three weeks!
I have lost TWO INCHES from my thigh. TWO INCHES!!!!!
I have lost one and a quarter inches from my upper arm.
My hips have stayed the same.
I'm actually in shock about my inch loss ~ which I am putting down to the fact I am doing so much more exercise than I used to. Nothing crazily energetic, just day to day stuff like walking. I've got so much more energy at the moment! And I've also noticed my upper body strength increasing too. I'm feeling so much better about myself and I have willpower for the first time in ages.
The entries to my success log are all very similar now, my eating habits seem to have changed completely. I no longer crave chocolate. I no longer snack. My portion sizes have reduced massively. Food used to rule my life (I would literally spend the whole day thinking about my next meal) but that doesn't happen anymore. It's strangely liberating!
I still have another few pounds to lose so I'm going to carry on listening to my slimpod for at least the next week before thinking about I start to think about switching over to maintenance. I'll be back Thursday with my weigh in results!
