My Sister Mabel

You all know how much I love vintage, as well as home made and upcycled things. Whenever I get presents for people (and treats for myself!) I always try and buy from independent shops and craftspeople. I think it's really important to support small and local businesses.

I stumbed across a fantastic blog recently called My Sister Mabel, and was over the moon when I discovered that the writer, Tracy, also has her own childrens' clothing label (of the same name - have a look here).

Tracy makes absolutely stunning clothes and bags out of gorgeous vintage materials and I couldn't resist getting a dress for Daisy. I opted for a flowery 70s print in pink and it arrived, beautifully wrapped in pink tissue paper and tied up with pink ribbon, the following day.

It is just stunning quality and so worth it's £18.00 price tag - I adore buying Daisy clothes that I won't see other children wearing. (I would make them myself if I could, but I am useless with a sewing machine so am more than happy to buy them from the clever people out there that can work them!).

My favourite items on My Sister Mabel are the reversible shift dresses - and I am already planning on putting a second order in for two or three!

We just need some Summer now so that Daisy can get to wear them....!

If you are looking for something different for a lucky little girl, defo check them out.

My Sister Mabel also has a Facebook page which you can find here. xoxox
