Valentine's Day with F&F

So Valentine's Day is only a week away and this year I've decided I'm going to use it as an excuse to pamper myself good and proper. Yep, it's going to be ALL ABOUT ME.

As soon as I found out my darling husband was going to be at work I set about planning an evening of bubble baths, prosecco and Meg Ryan films.

Then the lovely chaps at Florence & Fred asked if I'd like to take part in their 'Be My Valentine' Campaign and I took it as a sign from the Gods that a Valentine's night in on my own was definitely the way forward.

F&F offered me a set of lingerie from their Valentine's Collection (and a selection of goodies to treat myself with too) and I chose the Alice high apex plunge bra and matching French knickers (which retail at £10 and £5 respectively).

Wearing gorgeous underwear gives you such a confidence boost; it might sound ridiculous but it does. One of the first things I did when I started my own version of the #NYNYStyleProject last year was to get rid of all my old maternity underwear, which I'm ashamed to admit I had been wearing since I'd been pregnant with Daisy. Treating myself to brand new underwear sets that actually fit was such a treat and so much fun.

Although I now adore gorgeous, feminine, matching underwear, it's not something I'm prepared to spend a fortune on, and the sets from F&F are well made and luxurious, without breaking the bank!

So, my plans for next Friday are this:

Put the littlies to bed.
Run a huge, deep bubble bath.
Crack open a bottle of fizz.
Drink fizz and eat chocolate whilst wallowing.
Face mask.
PJs on (I'll save the lingerie for another day!).
Pamper self with a mani-pedi.
Meg Ryan film on.
Aaaaaaand relax!

How will you be celebrating Valentine's Day? xoxo

  1. Wicked price on the underwear and what a fab sounding night in! :-)

  2. Your Valentine's Day sounds wonderful! I'm thinking an M&S £20 gourmet meal for two so neither of us have to cook. We did consider a meal out but then discussed the impact a newborn could have on the outing and speedily decided against it! x
