Mother's Day with Moonpig

Today I was invited to the Montague Hotel in Bloomsbury for champagne, afternoon tea and a pampering session courtesy of well known online gift retailers, Moonpig. It was in honour of Mother's Day - and the perfect opportunity for them to showcase their wonderful collection of flowers and gifts.

Now I don't know about you, but up until today I thought Moonpig just sold personalised cards! It turns out they've been keeping their gorgeous flowers and hampers on the down low - but now I've seen the luxurious and delicious foodie gifts and pampering packs they have in stock, I'll be sure to bear them in mind whenever I have gifts to send.

Today was awesome. Moonpig's team of flower specialists were on hand to talk us through their beautiful creations and then I got to gaze wistfully at their gorgeous gift ideas. My favourite is this brilliant Breakfast in Bed hamper, made up of champagne, English breakfast tea, REAL coffee, pure orange juice, granola, jam, marmalade, a cute milk bottle vase and a 'Good Morning' toast stamp and mini dustpan and brush. I've already started dropping hints to Mr Modern Mummy.....

I also loved that Moonpig sell Godminster cheese - MY FAVOURITE - and Montezuma chocolate too.

After looking at everything and making mental wish lists, we were treated to amazing massages from Milk Mobile Beauty and then sat down to a delicious afternoon tea. What made it even better was that some of my favourite bloggers and their broods were there too - and Evie got to see her little bestie Orlaith (Alice from An Essex Wife's youngest daughter) for the first time in ages.

We headed home with full tummies in time to do the school run - and took Daisy home a Montezuma chocolate flower (which I think looked just like a daisy) because she missed out on all the fun. It went down a treat.

Moonpig's Mother's Day bouquets start at just £25 with free next day delivery.

Thanks a mill to Moonpig for hosting such a super event xoxo
