Modern Mummy Loves.... #4

Modern Mummy Loves.... Being outside, come rain or come shine  Baked camembert and crusty bread  The beach  Seeing Daisy's writing get better and better  Coffee.... boy I'm going to miss it if I have to give it up  Watching my babies sleep ♥ Evie sleeping in til gone 7 every morning! (unheard of, and it didn't continue back at home, boooo!)  Jenny from KyNa Boutique, who got the girls the most AWESOME Thing 1 and Thing 2 t-shirts from the States (thanks so much - again!! - lovely lady!)  Cucumber Gin

The girls and I spent the bank holiday weekend in Croyde with ten of our besties (we shared a caravan with five of them, poor things, then two stayed at their parents/in-laws house and three surprised us with a day trip on the Sunday). We had THE BEST time and it really made me realise that it's the little things that mean so much to children - and to me.

We had four days of sunshine, rain, howling winds, walking, snuggling up as a threesome every night, early nights (for me) and late nights (for them), sandcastle building, ice creams, swings, slides and campervan climbing frames, writing in the sand, collecting stones and shells, eating lots and drinking lots. It was complete and utter bliss.

Now it's time for me to sign off for a few days while I go into hospital for some (minor) surgery. If anyone fancies delivering me some Bún gà Hūe while I'm recuperating, I will love you forever xoxoxo

  1. Those 'Thing 1' and 'Thing 2' tops are so cute. I nearly bought some for my littles when we were in Florida and immediately regretted the decision!
