Modern Mummy Loves ♥ Bank Holiday Weekends

How lucky are we? Just beginning our second bank holiday weekend in a month! I LOVE this time of year and getting to spend heaps of time with friends and family.

Since my last instalment of Modern Mummy Loves, we've been up to all sorts of awesome chilled out stuff.

Family

Daisy's Godmother bought her a butterfly garden for Easter and a little over a week ago our teeny tiny baby caterpillars arrived. In 8 days they have quadrupled in size - if not more! They are so funny to watch and we are really excited about watching them become butterflies over the next couple of weeks.

Also, did you see my brother's Photoshop handiwork over on Instagram? People often say my husband looks like Jared Leto so my brother photoshopped the real Jared's head onto one of our wedding photographs. I know which one I'd rather be married to, haha.

Food

My best friend from school and her other half took the husb and I out for lunch last month as a belated wedding present. We went to Chez Bruce in Wandsworth and it was amazing. I have a massive thing for smelly cheese and the CB cheeseboard is OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Pay it a visit, even if just for the cheeseboard. Honestly, you won't regret it.

Also, I'm getting obsessed with Hope + Greenwood Cocoa Dusted Truffles (with salted butter toffee pieces)!

Fashion

Alice and I are taking a month off from the NYNYStyleProject and this month is all about me working on my Spring/Summer wardrobe.

Purchases so far this month include this button spot skirt from Cath Kidston, a new mustard yellow short cardigan from Joules (this is a new thing for me; my cardies usually have to cover my butt) and these A.M.A.Z.I.N.G Moheda Betty clogs from Lotta of Stockholm which, having worn them for three days straight, I am happy to confirm are ridiculously comfy to those that were asking.

Soundtrack

I can't stop listening to this beaut of a song from Coldplay. The video is brilliant too. Plus I might be a little bit in love with that handsome devil Chris Martin.
