I used to talk about it regularly on here, but over time I found - and stuck to - my favourite juice combinations and I didn't want to bore you all by talking about the same recipes over and over again, so I just let my juicing obsession linger in the background, escaping via the occasional tweet or instagram post.
These days I've replaced my old Dualit 88305 with a Philips Viva HR164. It was actually sent to me by Legal & General, who have been researching the most innovative technology for day-to-day living. When they asked me what I thought was the most innovative piece of kit within the home, I didn't need to think twice.

In my opinion, it is most definitely my juicer. I wouldn't be without it. There is no easier way to nourish your body with vitamins, minerals, nutrients and anti-oxidants. I'm using it more than ever this summer; the kids and I have been living off frozen juice ice lollies during the heatwave and they are SO good! It's such a simple piece of kit, but over the past few years juicers have become faster, more powerful, quieter and so much easier to clean. I'm majorly impressed with the HR 164, and it looks pretty darn pretty on my kitchen work top too.
What's your favourite piece of technology at home?
