It's the 31st of October and half term is coming to an end.
I've had such a lovely month with these two monkeys, and finishing it off with a whole week off nursery, school and work together has been the best! We've had train journeys into London, road trips down to the coast, hikes in the woods and plenty of visits to the local ice cream parlour. But as well as all the action packed days, we've had plenty of much needed, quiet days at home too. Work continues at the cottage, with the bathroom close to being finished, and the hallway being tackled next. And at long last the girls seem to have mastered the art of sleeping in until after 7am which, I'm not going to lie, has been AMAZING!
Our 'pink house' game has also stepped up a notch after I've introduced it to the world on Instagram, and now we can't resist a pink wall either, hence this month's photo taken in Clapham earlier this month.
As much as we've loved October, we're all looking forward to November with its shorter days and chilly nights. It's also an extra special and exciting month for us as the girls both have their birthdays! They will be turning 3 and 6 next week (a day apart.... timed that well, didn't I?!) which means lots of presents, family time and cake. I can't wait xoxo
This is such a bright colourful photograph. I shall have to be on the lookout for pink walls to take photos next to. It's lovely when the balance is just right in a month, with activities and home days. I am also looking forward to November and curling up with blankets and jumpers in the evening.
