Nutmeg AW16 Preview
Today the girls and I ventured into town for a sneak peak of the upcoming AW16 collection from Nutmeg, Morrison's clothing range for kids.
I'm a huge fan of Nutmeg. The idea of supermarket clothes is great but in reality not many get it right. In actual fact Morrisons is the only supermarket that I go to, to buy clothes for the girls. This is for two reasons; mostly due to their thoughtful details, like soft, stretchy, durable fabrics that are comfy, easy to put on, grow with your child and last forever (plus no annoying clothes labels that tickle!) but also because their design team have this magical ability to come up with bright, bold styles with a hint of vintage that I just love, season after season.
The AW16 collection is no exception. It features woodland animals, liberty style prints and on trend layering (and a whole heap more) - three things that I love, love, love.
The new season launch today was a really wonderful event. Not only was the collection showcased in a wonderful space (the 6th Floor at Foyles' flagship store on Charing Cross Road, no less) there was also a petting zoo and picnic tables full of delicious food to keep the kiddos entertained while us bloggers were walked through the various pieces by Claire Cave, Head of Buying and Design.
Here are a few of my favourite pieces, which will be available in store from late August:
And because they're so bloody cute, here are some pictures of some baby animals:
And because I love them so, here is a picture of us with the RocknRoller Baby family xoxo
